Pop-up facade gardens initiative with Romeo Sommers
There’s more and more concrete in cities everyday, biodiversity is next to none. Due to climate change the temperatures can skyrocket in these area’s.
So Citymarketing Den Bosch decided that it was enough and put on gloves with determination to green-up the city center of Den Bosch in cooperation with Romeo Sommers.
Pop-up facade gardens show: “it can be that green too!”.
To encourage and entice entrepreneurs in the city center of Den Bosch to get started with greenery, green expert Romeo Sommers and a team took to the streets with pop-up facade gardens.
“Together with the nursery Rijnbeek Perennials, we have developed three beautiful facade garden concepts. Beautiful peat-free plant combinations that are good for biodiversity and insect population in a petrified environment” Romeo said enthusiastically.
“With these facade gardens we have entered the streets and we have shown the entrepreneurs: it can be that green too!”.
The promotion was enthusiastically received by many entrepreneurs. The goal is for entrepreneurs to register with Citymarketing Den Bosch together so that green plans can be developed to green the city together.
Stads Bosch Beheer
The pop-up facade gardens is part of a larger movement in Den Bosch: Stads Bosch Beheer, developed by communication agency Arthur & Brent. With the concept, existing initiatives are given a stage and new ones are fueled.
In this way, a movement is created for and by residents, entrepreneurs and pand owners in the city center. Together they make the change. For more information, check out:
